I want a good heavy duty fitted. Something good, cheap, with natural fibers, preferably unbleached. I HATE lay in soaker so it would have to be all together. I also prefer velcro to snaps, but it's not THAT important. I want to buy a very functional stash and plan to use half prefolds and half fitteds (for dh and relatives to use). I have to wash diapers every other day with 2 in them and I'm just sick to death of having to put things together, I end up with a pile on a chair or in the dryer and never hav them put away. Pleas help me out with this and feel free to spam me too.

I really like swaddlebee fitteds. They are all snap though (I think). They are super trim, can hold A LOT, and have a soaker "flap" that is sewn in and you can double it by folding it over which I really like. I may be partial though because I really prefer snaps over velcro just because velcro doesn't hold up well enough for me. I can't stand using my teeny tiny bit of free time to pick stuff out of it!

Your post is describing "Indisposables" They basically ARE a prefold, in a fitted shape, and they are inexpensive. They fasten with Velcro.

I like them well enough, however, just like a prefold they are rather bulky and the only cover I have found that holds all that in is a Bummis SWW.

Hmmm...let me find a website...

My Lil Miracle Sells them

What about prefitted diapers (made out of prefolds and either have no closures or you can add closures). They fit forever and are affordable. www.growmearainbow.com just reopened and her diapers look gorgeous. You can pin or snappi (for diapers that can grow with your child) or have her add closures. Plus all natural fibers next to your baby's tush (which I prefer also). I make my own version, but if I didn't I would go shopping right now!

I would disagree with this. Indisposables have a polyfil core in will not perform like a quality prefold.

I like Motherease and All Together Diapers for affordable and absorbant fitteds.

I also liked the All Together diapers, that may be what you're looking for. They only bad thing is my ds outgrew them and they are difficult to resell for some reason.

prefitteds are awesome. either Grow Me a Rainbow or www.tinkletraps.com have them. or maybe Shandelle at Funny farm Creations. You can get them w/ snaps or velcro, however I prefer mine plain so I can just use pins or a snappi.

So far I've ordered a Thirties and a swaddlebee's I really only want diapers with natural unbleached fibers. I will probably try out the UTN too. Please keep the suggestions coming!

I like snugglebottoms, so far they are holding up to my almost two year old ds. We use them with a BSWW, or homemade cover. You can get them with or without velcro, we currently have velcro but I dont love it. I ordered non velcro for babe due in June, I think I will like them better.

http://babybunz.com/shopping/categor...=index&catid=2

This may be a pre-fitted as opposed to a fitted, I dont have my terms down yet as I'm still a newbie!!

I think you would like funorganics. They have a soaker sewn in at one end so you don't have to find it in the wash! They are snap closure but to me, that's less trouble; you don't have to remember to fasten laundry tabs before dropping the diaper in the hamper.

Does anyone else feel they take forever to dry? I only have UTN ones, and they are soft, organic, fit well, and fairly absorbant. I have three, and they take FOREVER to try!
this is a work at home mom in my general area. Great lady. I use 95% only her stuff -- and the fitted not the pocket or AIO.

I love them. they are absorbent enough for over night (espcailly teh "extra absorbant option which we use on our night diapers, though DS has repeatedly fallen asslep in "day" diapers without prob).

The fitted are easy -- i pull them from the dryer and pop them in the drawer -- i jsut pull them to lay flat and make sure the velcro is folded (if you check the velcro before wash this is a sept to skip). Fitted and cover. that is it.

Mine dry on one "hevery duty" setting on my dryer -- 85 minutes. I put them in before bed, or before leaving.
