<p>From what I hear having a baby in the Bahamas is a very limited deal. We live on a 65' sailboat and were planning on giving birth to our third child in a hospital on Nassau, but from what I've heard it's a BAD idea. Instead I've been looking into having a natural birth on our boat at a marina in Nassau, in case of an emergency a hospital is near by. Does anyone know of a midwife willing to travel?  Due middle March 2014</p>

<p>I've been seeing a midwife here in North Carolina but we need to leave out to meet up with friends and I'd prefer to stay away form the money hungry American medical system (I'm Australian). It would be different if I was a high risk pregnancy but I'm not. I am actually looking at having a boat birth down in the BVI's or hospital birth on St. Thomas depending on the price.</p>
