I am trying to find things to take my kids to this Summer, preferably 1 thing a week or so. We have some things already planned including library story hour, of course.
But I'd love to find more things to do. I know we will be doing gem mining, going to kids senses and catawba science center.
If you can think of more places to suggestion, that'd be awesome! We'd especially like a farm or farmy zoo type of place as my kids are begging for that.
I am in McDowell County, but willing to go to Morganton, Lenoir, Hickory, Rutherfordton, etc. Not Asheville just b/c I have never conquered my fear of driving down the mountain.
