A thread in the frugality section got me thinking. Do you know of any free or minimal cost activites in Phoenix or the north valley.

We are zoo members and for $2-3 they have zoofari on friday nights with waterslides and such.
Rio Vista park has a water play area/splash pad, FREE
The glendale library system is great for programs and activies. again FREE
We also belong to the science center so for $1 we can see Grossology as much as we want (just the cost of gas and parking)
Any other thoughts..

There is a REALLY active ap/bf ing playgroup/mom's group in the n phx area....

http://mommymilk.meetup.com/349/

The $5 fee to join is to keep the website running and is well worth the cost!

Also--the site owner maintains a calendar of free/low cost activites on the site.
