Can anyone recommend books or videos about the human body? I'm looking for something that would be suitable for 4 to 8 year olds.

Amazon has human x-rays, both regular and the broken bone series, and we're using those in conjunction with The Body Book, a stethescope, and Alive - the living, breathing human body book. Jessica's X-ray is another good book, and it comes with 6 x-rays to look at while reading.

I can't believe that guy is still around. I used to watch him on PBS in the eighties! I checked, and he is doing a show in Bellevue, WA. We're totally going to get tickets.

DD has many. I know she likes more than one. We usually get them at Sam's or Costco. Here's one we have that has flaps and lots of pictures. The text size is nice, too. It's Time for Learning The Human Body. Here's a link. Unfortunately, there's no pic.
http://www.amazon.com/Time-for-Learn...5183659&sr=8-1

Usborne books has a unit study on the human body called "10 terrific weeks."
It gives a books list and some activities to do. It would be perfect for the age level of your kids.
