I am a single parenting mama to 4 children ages 7 and under... I would love to meet some other mothers with children in my area! I would love to just have someone to chat with by email or instant messaging etc even! It is SO hard to find other mothers that agree with my non-vaxing veiws, etc in this mainstream area. Despite the name, I know some folks there who do have or have had their kids in schools. There are vaxers, non-vaxers, various religions, (including none), and it's generally a group of very nice people (heck, they put up with *me*, they must be nice <LOL!>)<br><br>
It's a very laid-back group. No dues or schedules really, just general parenting support more than anything

Tamara - you should check out the Tarrant playgroup, although we mostly meet during the week in the mornings or early afternoon maybe you can find someone nearby to meet up with outside of our scheduled playgroups. We have a couple of Arlington mamas, one in GP, and several of us in FW.<br><br>
Everyone should check out APconnect.org, started after there were just SO MANY of us in the boards here and going ever since. There have been a lot of friendships, playgroups, etc formed because of that board!!<br><br>
