I'm a knitter and would be happy to teach you to knit. Several of us meet at a Mpls coffee shop on Saturdays. PM me if you'd like the information. (We keep it off the boards for privacy reasons.) If you brought needles and yarn to the coffee shop, I'm sure you would find someone to help you get started - several of the "regulars" knit.

Hope you do stop by the Sat play time - I have a 5 yr old dd who would really love some more girls in the group over the age of 2!
A few of us also meet up on Monday, noonish, at various parks for a few hrs. If you and your dd ever want to join us there, pm me the wknd before for that week's location, we'd love to have you join us.
