Hi, I am looking for a newborn bootie pattern. There was one that I found that was a 3 part bootie. It had the sole, the top, and the part around the heel. It looked really simple, but now I cannot find it for the life of me. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or where you could find this? It was a free pattern, somewhere online.

I don't know about one online...but I've seen some in books..

I have a great book called Easy Knits by Zoe Moeller (I might not have the last name quite right, sorry!), and it has a very cute, easy looking bootie that ties with a ribbon.

I also had the book "Knitting for Baby" out from the library (sorry, don't remember the author's name)--there are a couple of bootie patterns in there.

good luck!

I can't knit, so I was looking for a sewn bootie pattern. Thanks.

Are you looking to knit one?

My grandma had a pattern for booties, and though I'm not a good knitter, I can make these in any size with some experimentation. If it is a knit slipper type bootie you're looking for, pm me and I'll try to explain the pattern.

Wal-Mart has a little book that's like 2.50 that's got a lot of bootie patterns in it

That's perfect! That's exactly the pattern that I had seen, but couldn't find. Thanks so much!
