Looking for powwows in Southern Alberta!!!

My dd has Native ancestry down through her father's side of the family, and she thinks it's grand, loves to hear anything related to Native culture. I would love to take her to a powwow this summer. How do I go about doing so? Would we be unwelcome if we just showed up or do we need someone to chaperone? I went to one many years ago with a friend who is half Cree and it was a blast.
