Our playgroup planned a trip to Corona del Mar this week, and we've been looking forward to it for weeks (we're actually doing weekly trips to different beaches, but this was the first one DS and I could make it to)! We've run into a slight problem though- the organizers are all on a camping trip, and those of us who are going are not familiar with Corona del Mar at all!

So, we really only need to know the basics: 1) What is the cost for parking, and 2) What is a good place for a group to plan to meet up (ie. hot dog stand, restrooms, tower #x, etc.).

Any suggestions?

hi-I just pm'ed you but forgot to say the main beach is relatively small-there is a snack stand to the right once you've paid your parking fee-but more than likely you'll have to park on the left side of the parking lot. There's a restroom/shower area on the left side between the parking lot and beach, which might also be a good spot to meet.

ps-now that I think of it I'm not sure the beach we go to is referred to as the "main" beach. We go to the one with volleyball nets set up-hopefully a resident can chime in and give the actual name.
