This documentary is going to be on PBS in our area Wednesday at 9 p.m.

I can't believe how excited I am. I love gardening and documentaries. Now, together at last!

Anyone seen it?

(Didn't think this would garner the same interest in the media section ...)

So, it was fantastic! Really fun camera angles, light-hearted tone.

Wow, people get obsessed. One couple said they spent four hours a day in the pumpkin patch. Another guy said he definitely spent less time with his kids because of his pumpkins.

At the end, my husband (who only watched a little of it) starts saying "I hope that doesn't happen to you" just as I'm saying "I don't think I'll ever get like that." Imagine, that much work for something that I bet they don't eat! A thousand plus pounds for ... what?

Still, it beats a lot of hobbies. Fresh air. Not a lot of driving around, using gas.
