Can somebody please explain to me how you lose weight doing yoga. I just got a Yoga box full of flashcards with poses on them and two CDs to watch, but I just don't understand how you can lose weight when you're moving slow. Do you actually sweat? To me it seems like just a lot of stretching. Silly me bought cardio pilates on DVD, and I just about died, so I wanted to do something more.. slow, so I want to start doing Yoga within the next few days, but I just don't understand how this will help me lose weight. Does it work as well as pilates? Does it take longer to achieve the same results as pilates?
