The elastic comes out amazing until I sew the inner fabric to the outer PUL.
My pattern and a few others I have seen. calls for the 2 fabrics to be sewn together on the inside of the elastic..
Ill try to show you here:
Inside stitch > ( Elastic > (......Looks like when done.. stitch>((< elastic.

So when you pull the diaper right side out both the elastic and seam are on the inside..
Follow me.?

Ok when I sew them together I lose the elastcity. What am I doing wrong here?
Could I be using the wrong size of elastic? What would be a recommended size of elastic to use when sewing inner fabric fleece to outer fabric PUL.

If you are using 1/4 " elastic then I would try 3/8". Most diapers call for 1/4' but if you are sewing an aio or a pocket then 3/8" is recommended. It sound like you are making a pocket... I've also discovered that using a very long zig-zag stitch is better for elastic rebound than a shorter stitch, as if there is less in the way when bunching back up. HTH!

I am making AIOs from a pocket pattern.
I am using 1/4" elastic... I will try the 3/8", it sounds as if it would hold the elasticity better. ..
Thanks for the help...
