<p>I know lots of people have lost theirs early.. But has anyone lost the full on plug with blood streaks and all?? This is baby number 5 for me, I did lose some plug early with the others but never the plug with blood etc.. So midwife now wants me to take liquid calcium and  it easy until I hit 36 weeks then I can deliver locally here otherwise at 35 weeks you have to transfer to a big hospital if they have time before birth so would be out of my midwives care then. All 4 of my others were born early 36.5-37.5 weeksish. I am having some minor cramping so we will see what happens here. I called the MW cause I wasn't sure about steroid shots for babies lungs, she said after 34 weeks they don't do it. SO I guess I should have prepped a little more for this to happen! I had my BP up for a while a few weeks back but I was able to bring i down to totally normal with a high protein diet so am all good in the BP area now We have been so super busy with building our home I have no had the time to REALLY prep for this little one, good thing for boobs and cosleeping  </p>

<p>I've never lost a mucus plug with any pregnancy but I do know it can 'regenerate' for lack of a better word- not sure about the bloody show. That usually indicates cervical changes. Have you checked yourself? Definitely take it easy!</p>

<p>Hard to believe we're at the point where some of us will start having our babies!!!!</p>

<p>Wow, for me the bloody show means labor now. I've been losing plug for ages, but not bloody show.<br>
Sounds like it will be soon for you!! I bet you'll be our first momma.</p>
<p>Take it easy and stay plenty hydrated until 36 weeks. I hope baby stays put until then...</p>

<p>I am jealous. I have been checking my vagina for any sign of anything. I did go from a nothing fingertip to 8cm in 45 minutes last time. My cervix does work. I just want the head to engage and things to start firing up.</p>

<p>Not too much new! I have had a few rounds of contractions one set last night and also the night before. Not just BH ones so we will see!! I talked to the MW today and I am still on "take it easy" which I am doing my very best to do but she is OK with me being up and at it when needed to. I go Thursday am for my appt, they are doing my GBS swab and while they are in there may do a super gentle dilation check, my guess is I am 2cm +. SO who knows I think baby will hang in there till 36.5 weeks which is when I had 2 of my other 4!<br>

<p>36.5 weeks would be nice! Long enough for the baby to do well and to get your local birth with m/w, but not long enough to get really miserable. I hope it all works out beautifully.</p>
