I'm so scared. I've been spotting a bit but have in the past and everything has been fine. Now I am just wiping lots and lots of bright red blood after a gush when I stood up. I have a friend picking up my son from school because I'm afraid to drive. I see my RE at 5pm. I'm so scared.

I have no advice but

If it helps... I had MASSIVE bleeding with DS at around 12 weeks. Like... soaked through a couple pads and passed some clots. Went to the ER and had an u/s... everything was fine. They had no idea what caused it but DS came along 7 months later and is not terrorizing my house *hugs*

I'm not in this DDC but I saw this on new posts... I had lots of unexplained bleeding with dd1's pregnancy. I know how scary it can be! You might want to check out the stories in this thread... it may help. All the mamas in that thread experienced bleeding during pregnancy.

Big hugs to you.

I'm still pregnant!!!!

I have a large area of blood sitting between the sac/embryo and my cervix. It explains the sudden bleeding I had this afternoon as well as what is continuing now. . . . yes, I'm still bleeding and it's still freaky. Dr. B said he's never seen anyone lose a pregnancy because of bleeding in the location where mine is. The problem would occur if the bleeding happens near my placenta- and it's not. So we just wait and watch. This could, unfortunately, happen throughout my pregnancy

I am also cramping and we could even visualize contractions on the ultrasound. I need to be better about staying hydrated. The cramps/contractions are uncomfortable and concerning, although Dr. B didn't really seem worried.

Sooo. . . . he'll see me in a week to check on things. We'll also do the NT scan at that visit.

I'm so relieved and completely exhausted. I'm going to pull out my thickest pad and put myself to bed. Thanks for all the support, mamas!
