We have a nb/small loveybums wool wrap that I love, but my son is soon going to be too big for it. Now that I know I like wool, I'm trying to decide what else to try. The Little Beetle wool wrap looks nice (and comes in aplix which is husband friendly), but I'm a little concerned about the rise of the little beetle covering our fitteds. Anyone use the little beetle wool wrap? How does it compare to the loveybum jersey wrap (i.e., thickness, stretchy-ness, rise)? What fitteds have you used under your little beetle wool wrap?

Well you are talking about my 2 favorite wool covers! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> I really like the Loveybums for fit and thickness. I really like the LB because of how dang SOFT and well finished it is and my dh likes the aplix too. The rise on the cover is longer than their dipes. The dipes seem to have a very short rise but the covers go over every single one of my assortment of fitteds just fine. Really, I like them both for different uses and use each of them all the time! Sorry, haha I'm not helping you decide am I..... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
I am currently considering a pair of the LB pull up shorts.....

DS has a very long rise and we use the LB Organic Wool Covers (with aplix) exclusively as our daytime covers. We love them! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

Thanks for the info. I think I'm just going to have to get both! I was considering the soaker shorts also. There are just too many to choose from!

I like the LB soaker shorts -- just thought I'd share some photos of DS wearing them last fall (when he was around 2 1/2) in a size L:<br><br><a href="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k220/Scotch99/LittleBeetleShorties003.jpg" target="_blank">http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...horties003.jpg</a><br><br><a href="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k220/Scotch99/LittleBeetleShorties002.jpg" target="_blank">http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...horties002.jpg</a>

Thanks for sharing the pictures. The soaker looks great. I've been wanting to get one since my DS was born, but couldn't decide what size. He's got some chunky thighs.

I don't know if this will help, but those photos were taken when DS had 11" in the upper thighs (I remember this because I had to measure him to get a good fit with various CD items), and the size L LB soaker shorts is supposed to fit "up to 12" thighs". That knit wool does have some stretch as well.

This is my problem. When I measure my 3 month old, I get about 9.5 inches around the thigh. That would be a size small. But I'm wondering whether I should get him a medium?
