I casted off knit because I went and picked up the stitches at the end and crocheted around it. I don't think it matters.

I'm to the point in the pattern where it says to cast off (#), purl to end Am I casting off in pattern, meaning doing a purl cast off? Thanks! Oh and any tips on how to do the crocheting would be much appreciated!

Thanks! I ended up purling. LOL! Now I'm ready to crochet the edges and I'm scared! I don't crochet!
