Anyone who has done this, can you give me some quick help. I've tried the LTK support forum, but no response and I really want to continue on my lunch hour.

I am at the end of the front right. Cast off all stitches but the last one. How do I cast off the last one w/o cutting the thread - or am I supposed to cut it? Any idea how long a tail I should leave if I do cut it?

Then, once I've done that I'm supposed to join the thread to the top front left. I figure this is like adding a new skein if I cut the thread, but if I don't cut the thread, I have no idea what to do here. Thoughts?

Yep- you need to cut the yarn and leave approx 18" tail.

Then you add the new yarn like a new skein.

Have fun!

Okay, I cut the thread and finished off the last bound off stitch. But all of my instructions for "joining in" have you tying a knot to the thread that's hanging. i have no thread hanging. I can't find anything anywhere on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
just answered in the forums, but I'l answer here too

Just leave a tail about 6 inches, and then start knitting on the left front. You'll go back and weave that tail end in later to secure, but you don't need to tie a knot or anything

I'm still lost as to how to join in w/o a hanging thread. Anyone?

No Knots!!

Just start knitting. Think Nemo: JUST START KNITTING. stick right needle into first stitch to be knit. Wrap NEW yarn from NEW ball of yarn around the point of the needle to make the first stitch. PUll yarn through to make a stitch as usual. Move to next stitch etc. Just do it! Your hands will know what to do...

Thank you very much for your help! I took that leap of faith and it worked!

For future reference, I was supposed to leave a short tail to weave in, right?
