Anyone use the lunar cycles method?
Do you have any good sources for me to look at.
I found one site, but I am still confused on how to do it.
Been ttc since June and my hubby has a slight low sperm mobility, but I just want to have another go or 2 before agreeing to an iui.
Thanks
Its really not the most reliable method...

http://www.astrobirthcontrol.com/WasIstMeth.htm this website outright lies in the first couple sentences...

Astro-Birth-Control is based on the application of the lunar phases related to the readiness for conception. This is a natural method, which can be applied - according to your own preference - for both contraception or child planning including the extra option of selecting the sex of the child successfully in advance. It is easy to use and suitable for every woman.

If you use it for contraception, you will probably get pregnant. If you use it for child planning or for sex selection, you are going to be sadly disappointed.

Its not suitable for MOST women. For example:

any woman whos cycle is not currently aligned to her birth sign (I was born on a full moon... however none of my three pregnancies were conceived on a full moon and neither of my children were born on a full moon. For several months of this year I did O on the full moon and I found that interesting... but now my cycle is not aligned to the moon at all.)

any woman who does not have a 28 day cycle every single cycle.
any woman who does not have a 14 day lp

There are MUCH more reliable methods, such as watching your CM and DTD often when you have EWCM or simply doing it as often as the doctor recommends for the entire month

For example: every 3 days

If you dont DTD the day before or the day of O, you will DTD 2 days before and 1 day after (which is GOOD timing! really it is! anything from 2 days before to day of is really good timing.)

But if his doctor said more than every 3 days is okay, do it. Whatever the doctor said, do it that often for the whole cycle and you are 100% certain to have your O date covered. Granted this does not make you 100% certain to get pregnant, it certainly has your chances the highest out of ANY method you could possibly do.

i know basically nothing about it although a friend of mine claims it worked for her. (she's also never really had to try hard to conceive, though, so maybe she's just super fertile.) anyway i think you can find out more about it if you google the term lunaception - maybe even do a search on this forum with that word.

I know it is not the most reliable, but I am using the ov watch taking my temps, (which are all over the place all mth long) and now I am using the digital Clear Blue Easy OV Sticks.
Just trying to cover all my basis since I have had no luck.
I guess I am just reaching for whatever I can grab.
I think we decided we would stop trying int he winter and start again in the spring to relax a lil.
I was just looking in to it, Since I have a normal cycle perfect 28 days and a perfect 14 lutual phase as well.
who knows maybe just need something new to concentrate on
