I was just noticing that the length of my luteal phase is very variable over the last 14 months, it has been: 12 days, 12 days, 10, 10, 12, 11, 12, 14, 9, 11, 10, 12, 12, 10.

Does anybody have any idea what could cause this and/or whether or not this could be the problem?

I have only had wonky luteal phases while breastfeeding, but I have been told that taking extra b vitamins can help with luteal phase defect. I've had super short LP the last few cycles, and I'm on cycle 1 of b-100 complex to try and help it. I did ovulate earlier this cycle, and I'm 8 dpo with good temps. Hoping for at least a 10-11 day LP (better than 7-8 days that I have been getting).

Try looking over at http://www.ovusoft.com. There's a LOT of really great info over there on fertility and fertility awareness.
