Hi everyone!
So I felt a little better for 2 days earlier this week (meaning nausea but no vomitting) and the past 3 days I've been pretty sick again :)Puke). It hits me the hardest in the early afternoon and continues throughout the evening. I'm really, really tired of being sick.
On a positive, sweet note...I feel the baby already.
It's an active little one too. I started feeling it earlier this week. I didn't feel it saturday and sunday and I was all worried and in the middle of the night last night I couldn't sleep and the baby kept me company....jumping around in there.
I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I'm excited to reach the 2nd trimester in a few weeks! I have an appt. with an OB in 2 weeks (although I'm planning a homebirth, I have to have 2 appts. with a "professional" as required by state law...
I'm looking forward to hearing the
. My midwife has an old crappy doppler that wasn't picking up anything...
And I was SO looking forward to hearing my baby. Better luck next time I guess.

So how's everyone else?

Better since the vit b 6 injection. I felt great the day after I got it. Then yesterday I threw up a few times but it was tolerable vomiting, just til my stomach was empty, not the hideous wretching I had been doing. Today is a little sketchy, I've thrown up once but again, not too bad.

It hits me in the evening/night too. If I don't get to bed early, I'm screwed!

I am just ending week 11, moving into week 12. I've sort of thought I've felt some movement a few times but nothing that makes me certain.

I have my first midwife appointment Thursay here at my house and I have got to do some serious house cleaning before hand! It's trashed big time!

That's hilarious, that was us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (she came Friday). We hadn't cleaned since I started being sick and it was a several day affair.

I'm glad the vomitting is a little more in control for you now. I was telling dh the other day that I feel like a bulimic because over the past few weeks I've taught myself to throw up better. It puts less strain on my body now. I don't do any vocals and I drink a big glass of water when the nausea starts to hit because it comes up easier with liquids. Sorry TMI...

Wow, Starlein - yours must be an active little baby
I've been trying to tell if what I feel is the baby, but mostly it turns out to be gas
I was around 4 1/2 mths when knew for sure about my first so I'm hoping that I feel things sooner this time. I have felt a couple of little flutters, but when I sit still to feel it again nothing happens so I'm not sure.

I'm not so tired any more, but my patience has grown a bit thin with dh and ds. I feel terrible about it and I know its just me. I'm sure its hard for the little guy just hanging around the house all day. I just can't seem to get motivated to get out of here most days, though. Its not even that I don't feel like leaving the house exactly - its just that getting us ready to go seems like such a HUGE task sometimes. I guess I just need to push myself a little right now.

I've felt a lot better in the last week... even started having my old sleeping problems again. Sure sign that the hormones are changing (I think). I've even had energy to clean, which is sporadic - at BEST.

Sorry you ladies have had such rough barfing going on. Man I feel super lucky to have just had an inability to eat because of the gross sick feeling. No actual upheavals of anything this time. Yep, super lucky.

Hope yall feel LOTS better REALLY soon!!!
Thanks Tori! I hope I feel better soon too! That we all do!

I threw up at 5 yesterday....felt really icky and tired so I went to sleep at 7:15...woke up at 9 to eat a small dinner and nurse ds to sleep and went back to sleep by 10:15. This morning I woke up at 6 with ds, nursed him and managed to snooze until 9 while he played with dh. Haven't been THAT tired in a while. Baby must be growing or something.
I am feeling pretty good over the past week or so (I'm about 12 weeks now). I think because they opened a Krispy Kreme in my town.

I am still getting a little queasy in the evenings, but it hasn't been so bad that I have thought I was going to throw up. I am having my nuchal fold scan tomorrow, and am worried/sceptical/excited all at the same time.

And! My belly is starting to get a little bigger. Maybe it's just bloating, but it's definitely bigger than it used to be!

Are you sure it's not the Krispy Kreme?

We all must be busy because we're not posting that much it seems.

Im feeling a little better, less nausea. I think I will get one more vit B6 injection and see how that holds me. I'm feeling a little queasy at the moment but I just ate....time will tell.

Well, no sooner had I hit the post botton, I had to run to the trash can. The oatmeal with honey and raisins was not a bad thing to throw up.

So, what am I going to have for breakfast NOW?

Oh well, off to take care of the dogs I'm house sitting for....

I wish I could indulge in krispy kreme doughnuts...but with my thighs and butt already twice as big as pre-pregnancy...I need to steer clear I'm afraid...

Glad to hear you feel better these days...wish I could say the same. I'm seemingly getting worse...

END M/S, END!!!

My m/s still sucks some serious muffins.

I have this really high level of "Background nausea", and at about five different points during the day it gets really crazy intense. It's worst when I first wake up and when I go to bed at night.
UGH UGH UGH UGH.

I've felt some flutters and flickers, too. At least one a day, but nothing constant yet. I'm somewhere around 12-14 weeks.

Awww
...yeah it's nothing constant for me either. I'll feel it tons one day and then nothing for 2 days...When I do feel it it's on the right side everytime.

Mine was like that with my son.
But this time whenever I feel it it's in a different spot. By my scar is harder to feel.
Low, right, left, high, inside... that's what makes me go, "is this actually kicking?" because it just seems to be so random and have no clear pattern.

I have felt the baby physically. Like palpated her. Feels like a little rock sometimes. The other day I woke up and my belly was all lopsided and I could see the little bump sticking out. An hour later it was gone and I couldn't feel her anymore.

My acidy indegestion feeling has gone away, HOPEFULLY until later on pregnancy when my stomach is about in my throat

I actually have been feeling pretty good and joined a fitness spa center. SO im sure my legs and butt will be sore tomorrow.

I'm glad that you feel well enough to start working out ArlyShellandKai, that's great! I'm hoping to be able to start soon! I mean we take walks but only occassionally these days. Last night I managed to not throw up...yay!! I was nauseous but it never got to that point...hopefully I'm turning a corner soon!

How's everyone else?
I'm still feeling pretty good physically. I'm having fewer food aversions and I've been doing some walking and gardening this week. The increased activity is helping a lot.

We were planning to tell my family about the baby this weekend, but I think we'll cancel the visit. They are not likely to be happy about the news and we have enough drama right now. My husband and I are currently not speaking after a disagreement over my wishes for the birth. He is not supportive of me having an unmedicated birth and my insistence on having a doula. He also opposes my plans to breastfeed, but that's another subject altogether. He blew up at me last night for making a list of questions, about a dozen total, that I want to ask the OB at tomorrow's appointment. He says I'm asking too many questions and being confrontational for no reason. He doesn't understand why I won't shut up and do a repeat of our daughter's birth (epidural, episiotomy & vacuum extraction). And he refuses to listen to my explanation of why I want to do things differently, nor will he do any reading and research on his own. Good thing we have almost 6 months to work this out, it may take that long.

Thanks Star

And I hope your vomiting sessions have ended
or will very soon.

With DS 1 I relaxed most of the pregnacy along with some bike rides and towards the 3rd trimester long walks on the beach ( At high tide) with DH ( gosh that got hard along with my contractions

This time even with an active toddler I was determined to finally join the gym. I have only been doing warm up treadmill and then the machines but It felt sooo good and it was quite relaxing because its more of a spa fitness center then a meat market and its pretty quiet. It doesnt have loud obnoxious music blaring and weights slamming however I guess in the free weight area it could.

Now I wish I had someone to tag along that was pregnant with me.

Klein did you all take pregnancy classes the first time around? Maybe if DH is willing you could see if there is a Bradley Class in your area. That may help DH come around a little. Sometimes it is easier for them to hear it from others that you ARE making the right choices. Little steps....

my DH tends to tell other moms that when their Dhs arent very open to the Homebirth etc idea at first. heck, I had a friend whos fiance and his family were as mainstream as you can get and fiance is still set in many of his ways However they have a healthy uncirc homebirth baby. So there is hope!

I'm feeling great!I'm a little over 13 weeks.I can not eat after 5pm though,it wreaks havoc on me!I'm not telling anyone about the pregnancy ,unless they ask
having 4 kids already does not lead to kind comments about this pregnancy.

You poor thing! I would be going crazy.

I still get sick a couple times a week. It comes and goes now, though, instead of being constant.
