Hmm, I'm wondering the same thing. I have Quickbooks, but I don't really care for it. For the past few years I've just been using a separate register in Quicken for my books, and an Excel spreadsheet for my inventory. The inventory spreadsheet is a real PITA, and I'd like something different.

I used QB for Mac for a year and had no problems with it. The only advice I have is that it does not integrate with any shopping carts, so if you sell on a website, you end up having to manually enter orders into QB. If this doesn't apply to you, then it doesn't matter. Also it needs a pretty fast processor to run quickly - our 2 year old Mac Mini would occasionally get bogged down while running QB.
