Ooooh fun!

So 12 lbs, 10 oz and 16 inches long? Really? Those dimensions don't seem possible. Light eyes and auburn hair...maybe...

But fun anyways! I laughed out loud when I saw the weight/length combo. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so down with the 7 hour labor. And the weight is only one ounce bigger than my first baby.

But since I have a picture of its penis, I don't think the baby will be a girl.

Funny! Colorclash, that's going to be one rotund baby!

The day you deliver, outside will be hazy. Your baby will arrive in the late afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 12 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have light amber eyes and fluffy blonde hair.

The amber eyes seem unlikely since mine are green and DH's are blue. Plus, we both have dark hair, though I was born bald and had blonde hair for a while once it started to grow, so I guess that's not out of the question. 12 hours doesn't sound so bad for a first labor, though.

Oh man, I hope not! I'm going to have some serious explaining to my native american DH why his 1/2 hispanic woman had blue eyed red headed baby! (I'm not touchin the almost 16lb baby...That's just not funny!)

I'm fine with all of this, but I don't think the blondeness is terribly likely.

According to my ultrasound they at least got girl right.

Im okay with a 9 hour labor but I seriously think its going to be less than the 8 hours I had with DD

My baby will NOT be over 10 pounds! My first two were between 7 and 8 pounds... both cooked fully... despite me putting on a LOT of weight during the first pregnancy... pretty sure I dont cook babies that big! 22 1/2 inches is possible... DD was nearly 22 inches (and just barely over 7 pounds... very tall and skinny!)

And there is no way the child of a man with light yellow-green eyes and a woman with light gray eyes will have a brown eyed baby... the auburn hair is possible though.

I really don't want an 11 pound baby. My 9 pounder gave me a good tear with his shoulders.

I like the short labor...not the tiny baby though. Great fun misty!

As for the hair/eye combos...seriously mamas anything is possible, lol.

DH has brown hair and blue eyes, I have brown eyes and brown hair; DD1 is blonde, blonde, blonde with ice blue eyes, DD2 is very dark haired and has green eyes with brown rims...and one has milk white skin and the other is the color of sticky toffee They're both gorgeous but DH and I laugh all the time that we never would have guessed the blends of our features that they are

Hmmm first of all, I'm having a boy. I really, really don't want a nearly 11lb baby though! My daughter was born with blue eyes and brown hair, she now has bright emerald green eyes and strawberry blond hair. She was 6lbs 13oz and 19.75" long

really not too bad for me.. except for the 35 hour labor!! my labor with my first was 19 hours, then 12 with DS.. this one better not be 35!! otherwise, the size is fine unlike many of you lol - and the hair/eye color is possible.. and it IS a girl .. so ..

Hmmm, I am measuring ahead. But an almost 11lb baby? Ummm, will it fit????

Don't know the gender yet, but the length is fine, as is the eye/hair color.

For all those questioning eye color, it's totally possible for 'light eyed' people to have brown eyed children. I think unless both parents are blue eyed, the stats are skewed towards brown eyed kids.

Well the eye and hair colors work with our family. These sizes are a bit on the big side, to say the least. And I'm not thinking it's a boy.

green eyes are not genetically connected to brown... and gray eyes are just blue eyes with no actual blue to them... so no we really have no chance of a brown eyed baby.

Yep, brown eyes are dominant. My mother's eyes are blue, so I do carry a recessive trait there, but both of DH's parents are dark complected. The odds of my having a blue eyed baby are *very* slim.. If he were blue eyed then it would be 50/50ish.

Green & hazel eyes are seen as a variation of brown eyes. Why, I don't know, but genetically, they are connected. Do any of your parents/sibling/grandparents have brown eyes? If so, you carry that gene.

Here's the clearest explanation for this: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Genetics-1795/green-eyes.htm

Eye color is due to a few genes, so complicated. If there are brown eyes in your and your dh's ancestry, never say never.

In my family, my two cousins show this. My aunt was the 'typical' Greek woman --medium tan skin, black curly hair, dark brown eyes. My mom is the same. Her daughter's father was similar. The oldest girl had strawberry blond hair and light brown eyes as a toddler. Now it's a dirty blond color. Her sister, born 2 years later, looks exactly like her mom/dad in complexion--medium tan skin, almost black hair, brown eyes. Interestingly enough, both have stick straight hair too.

Dh is from a mixed background (Irish & Mexican) so I always like to joke that our kids are going to be like Baskin Robbin's ice cream flavors--they could all look totally different.

Kind of an aside: Are baby sizes at birth related to genetics or nothing at all? If so is it both father's/mother's side, or just mother's side? According to my 'prediction' this baby will be 10lb 11oz. I think the biggest baby in my side of the family was 8lbs. My youngest sister topped out at a hefty 6.5 lbs. Dh's dad's side is similar, but his mom's side has HUGE babies. As in 9 or 10lbs is their normal.
