Any moms in the salt lake area know of any part time afternoon jobs? I am so so poor and i need cash! I am going to school from morning to around 1 and am really looking for a part time 1-5 job monday thru friday. No day care on weekends and i have to pick up my daughter at 5:30. any body know of anything i can do? Is there any stay at home Jobs that any of you do? Help! Does anyone do work from home that doesnt rip you off and i could make money at? maybe b/c of the hour constraits work from home would be easier. I need money to support myseld and Tanf and school loans arnt making ends meet! any help advice would help!

Have you tried different retail places, like the mall, Starbucks, etc? They can be pretty flexible with schedules, and I know they are always hiring this time of year as students go back to school and leave vacancies. They may not like that you are not available weekends, but it is worth a try. What is your major? What about babysitting or in-home elderly care? What are your interests?

I am a psychology major. i have tried places like that a vcouple of them wanted to hire me but also wanted me to work till late at night.

What about doing after school care for another family? My friend did this for another family. She picked up their kids after school, brought them back to their house, supervised homework, and got dinner started for that family and her own. And she even brought her own baby with her.

Are you a good typist? There must be professors or physicians in the area that need someone to do typing for them. Or even other students who have waited until the last minute?

I was going to say, what about typing up papers for other students? Have you checked with the career counselors and such at your school?

what about at a daycare? then you could maybe bring your dc along.
