I've been Earthing every day by sitting outside with my bare feet on the lawn, usually with a book but occasionally with a friend to talk to. I've been doing this since the beginning of the summer. It's getting cooler out; it's still warm enough to go outside barefoot, but it won't be in a few months.

I'd like to have a pair of Earthing shoes so I can go outside and connect to the earth even when it's too cold to do so barefoot. But the ready-made shoes are REALLY expensive, even more so if I get them custom made to fit my super-wide feet.

So I'd like to make my own. I see no point in making sandals- if it's warm enough for sandals, I can go barefoot. I want closed shoes to wear with cotton or wool socks. I don't care if they're "pretty" but I do need them to be adjustable, so I can wear them with thicker or thinner socks depending on the weather, and if my feet get swollen again I can still use them. My feet seem to vary between a 7W and a 7WW, which gets expensive to fit.
