I would like to make ?some diaper doublers. How can I make these? What material should I use? Is there a cheap way to make them?

Doublers are a great way to use up all those "leftover" pieces of fabric, or old sweatshirts/blankets/tshirts/anything absorbant! If you want a "stay-dry" layer, you will have to add some microfleece on top, but even without, they are great for stuffing pocket diapers.

If you have no scraps, or want something more absorbant, you can go buy microfiber car towels from Sam's Club, Walmart, or Costco. These are uber-cheap and work wonderfully. But be sure not to put them right against baby's skin, as it is common wives-tale knowledge that they will dry out the skin. Use a layer of microfleece or stitch some flannel to the top to be against baby's skin.
