My dh travels for work a few times a month. he hates checking is bag for an overnight trip. He's okay with using the hotel shampoo. The only liquid thing that he feels like he needs is toothpaste. Can I make a tooth powder for him? Baking soda, salt, peppermint essential oil??/ how much and what else should I add???

TIA

Baking soda is now outlawed for overnight bags on airplanes

Hell, overnight bags are outlawed on planes as well.

America sucks sometimes.

Anyway - he's more apt to get through security a whole lot easier if he has a tube of toothpaste rather than some white powder that nobody has any clue what it is (like airport people will listen if he says "it's natural toothpowder!").

Tom's of Maine probably has some SLS and Fluoride free alternatives.

Very cool!

Yeah, ATL is very crazy right now, no powders or liquids, esp things like baking soda that you can make explosives with, ugh....

You can't bring on any carry-on luggage. Women who have kids and have bottles of breastmilk or formula actually have to taste the stuff in front of security people, people have to dump their expensive colognes and perfumes....sad, sad, sad!

Pretty much if you can't gulp it down, you can't take it on board.

No lipstick, chapstick, anything.
