its just oil and water but can I make it myself in the blender or food processor?

If you mean Follow Your Heart's Vegenaise, it's got a lot of ingredients besides those two. You can't mix oil and water. They'll just separate.

You can make your own vegan mayonaise but you need other ingredients. I can get you a recipe if you like. And yes, you can make it in the blender.

you can do a google search for mock mayo and it should bring up some recipes....Ive heard they taste almost identical to real mayo, but I havent tried them yet

i believe its grapeseed oil, water, lemon juice and salt in the one I have used before...seems simple...which is why I thought I might make it myself

and yes, if you have a recipe, I would love that

It's also got soy protein, mustard, and a bunch of other stuff. I'll ask my friends for their recipe. I'm too lazy to make it myself but they do all the time.

Did anyone find a good recipe for vegan mayo? I tried two recipes tonight (Brianna's and another one w/o tofu that turned out like sauce

: ), and both sucked. I mean, GROSS! uke

I am looking for something that tastes like Vegenaise. I will accept no less

If I have to, I'll go buy it, b/c it's just that important to me... but it's so expensive

(I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one. I'm lazy

I feel the same way about Vegenaise. I have tried many homemade versions and none of them are the same. The closest I came was this one from VeganDad. It's good...but I have a serious craving for a chickpea salad made from Vegenaise and I'm thinking about splurging the next time I go to the HFS.
