Would regular fleece work good for wipes, before I cut it up? I like the idea of not having to sew the edges! It seems like it would be grippy for poo too although I haven't tried it yet.

I haven't tried it, but I would think that you might have a problem getting the wipe wet to use it. Fleece is water-resistant, so, probably, when you spray on some water, it would just run off. Maybe microfleece?

depends on what kind of fleece you're talking about.<br><br>
Polyester fleece wouldn't absorb any liquids = bad choice.<br>
Hemp fleece, cotton fleece, bamboo fleece... they would = good choice.<br><br>
If your main issue is not wanting to have to sew the edges - then what you really want is a knit fabric of some sort (doesn't ravel/fray) versus a woven fabric (like birdseye or flannel).
