i have two mama pad questions: for one, what do you prefer as an insert? i have seen flannel and hemp. i prefer hemp for diapers. which do you prefer for pads?

also, who makes your favorite nighttime pads? i am thinking of getting some nighttime gladrags but want to hear other suggestions.

I love Pandora Pads for nighttime. For me (thin build, sleep on my side) it isn't even necessary to use the biggest size; the medium size is more comfortable and ALWAYS gets me thru the night without leaks. One of them lasted for 15 hours of medium-heavy flow when I was sick once!

I haven't tried any hemp pads yet, but as cotton fabrics go, I think terry is more absorbent than flannel. Pandora Pads have a smooth flannel surface touching you, but the soaker is terry similar to a high-quality towel, and they are REALLY absorbent.
