Thank you Nazsmum and lab.

This is encouraging: Doctors are saying it may be healthier to be a little heavier

My foot is hurting like my period is about to start, and since it hasn't started tonight it will probably start tomorrow and my foot will continue hurting, and that will set me back in terms of my goal. I will try to take it easy tomorrow though.

3/22 rode my exercise bike for 40 minutes + walked 1 mile in 30 minutes + 10 minute walk + 20 more minutes riding my exercise bike = 100
3/23 20 minutes of walking
If it wasn't so late now, I would go ride my bike. My foot might be hurting too much anyway.
I'll be riding my bike more than walking as we finish up March because I can't walk very far without sciatic pain. I can't count stretching in my time anymore, either, because the chiropractor said to hold off on the core stretches and mainly just stick with the anti sciatica stretch. I sure can't complain about massages and chiropractic care though! :)
100 + 20 = 120
1,135 + 120 = 1,255/2,000

3/24 85 minutes picking up sticks + 30 minutes pulling vines (this time without the wheelbarrow, so this involved some walking back and forth) + swept the front porch and sidewalk for 15 minutes + raked and watered the plants for 25 minutes + walked 1 mile kicking my soccer ball for 35 minutes + 10 minutes riding my exercise bike = 200
1,255 + 200 = 1,455/2,000 Woo-hoo! (yes my foot didn't hurt today)

3/26 raked for 30 minutes + walked almost 3/4 mile until I heard thunder, 20 minutes = 50
1,505 + 50 = 1,555/2,000

The race to finish exercising to meet my goal this month will be close! (I know I don't have to prove anything to anybody; this is more for me than for anybody else and I'm really the only one who cares that much about meeting my goal. It's more important to me this month than in other months because this'll be the 12th month in a row if I can meet it, which will make a year of exercising for at least 2,000 minutes each month!)

@catholicmama I think I'll be close too. But even though it is just 'for us' isn't funny how competitive we are being with ourselves. I don't know about you, but this little thread is what gets me out the door some mornings. And like a wise man told me, it's okay to give yourself permission to not feel guilty!

@catholicmama - maybe you could get on the exercise bike with a good book for a long ride? I hope you make the goal:wink:

3/27 I walked in the park. 90 mins
Thank you, Nazsmum. My exercise bike works my hands and arms as well as my legs and feet (it has handles that move when the pedals move) and it's easier to go faster with my feet if I also move my hands, so that's why I usually don't read while I ride. I've thought about it before and it's a nice idea; thanks.

Also I found in the last week that since the accident, exercising much more than 30 minutes - whether walking or riding my exercise bike - brings on sciatic pain.

I might be pregnant anyway - my period is late and I don't know if it's because of pregnancy or the accident - so it's better not to overdo it.

3/27 35 minutes riding my exercise bike
3/28 vacuumed for 35 minutes + walked for about 45 minutes = 80
3/29 rode my exercise bike for 30 minutes + 10 minutes of walking + more exercise bike 30 = 70
3/30 40 minutes picking up sticks and watering the plants
35 + 80 + 70 + 40 = 225
1,555 + 225 = 1,780
