Well I'm sorry if I brought up a touchy issue. I noticed in one of the posts from today about letters in Mothering that apparently this was already discussed on the boards. Could someone please post a link to the discussion for me?

I was happy to see your post because I was looking for it too. I saw some response under "polls" but that's supposed to be about ALL the articles. So I'd be happy to discuss it here.

I just don't get all these people who think it's so bad. I mean it was outlawed in the first place because of propaganda based on a cotton farmer who didn't want to compete with hemp cloth. If it had been legal all these years, who would really be standing up to object to it's use during pregnancy? I mean people get less grief for having an occasional glass of wine, but we KNOW that alcohol harms fetuses, with mj there's a lot less of a case against it.

...I'm just surprised it was such a big deal. I thought it didn't get much of a response because everyone who has sense enough to study alternative therapies knows it's a bunch of BS that this natural and medicinal herb is banned in the first place. On the debate board I used to frequent, people brought it up now and then in a "should it be legalized" question, and there was nothing to debate because everyone said something like, "well, yeah, duh."

But seven pages and counting... wow. well never mind then I guess it's been throughly hashed out elsewhere...
