Anyone use either massage or chiropractic care for IF? Any info, advice, stories, etc would be appreciated. Is there order or timing within the cycle to worry about? Tia!

Hey Marmo!

I've been to a massage therapist that specializes in Arvigo Mayan Abdominal massage. http://www.arvigotherapy.com for more info. I would definitely recommend that type of specific massage for IF. The therapist will also teach you a self care routine that you can do at home which is really nice. I haven't noticed much difference other than I have realized I hold a lot of tension in my uterus. It has helped me to learn to relax my pelvic floor. My Eastern medicine diagnosis is stagnation (blood stagnation) so I like to think that it is helping blood flow in that area.

I also see a Chiropractor at least twice a month. While I can't think of any articles specific to it boosting fertility. Here is a great one http://birthwithoutfearblog.com/2011/08/24/how-chiropractic-can-help-with-your-pregnancy-and-birth/ that easily explains how important free and clear nerve pathways are!

Hope that helps.
