Thank goodness the clothes are made a little more stylish! I just saw an episode of Full House where Jesse's wife is pg! What the heck is she wearing??? It was this tent with black leggings!! I wonder what the moms in 2020 are going to think of what we are wearing 2005!

When I was pregnant with my daughter 7 years ago (can that be right?!?), I lived in her dad's hockey jerseys & this one pair of HIDEOUS maternity jeans. They've even come a long way since then!

Now, nursing clothes are a whole 'nother story...:puke

Oh, I agree! It's amazing how far they've come even in the 5 years since my first baby!

And yeah Emmy, nursing clothes need to get with the program....

oh there's plenty of really cute nursing stuff... if you wanna spend $162 on a tank top from japanese weekend...
they actually had a spread in some pregnancy magazine in my ob's office of 'great summer nursing style' that included it... i think the cheapest attractive top was around 40 bucks. i'm just relegated to hiking up my regular shirts at that price.

and maternity clothes are over for me... all the cute stuff i had i can't fit into anymore - luckily it was all secondhand from my sister, so there was no serious investment on my part. i think i spent $20 on clothes this time. i did buy some things myself, but they were paid for with an old navy gift card...
the problem with the stuff my sister gave me, was that she delivered in october, so all the summer-ish clothing is smaller and unaccomodating of my gigantic belly.
*sigh*

I bought myself three tops from motherhood.com! They were terriable! Even in the begining! They have never been long enough and now they are at my belly button! But the other day at KMART I got a pair of pants and a top for 1.50 ea on clearance! I was so relieved! Finally something to cover my stomach so I don't look like a freak! They are more trendy just not long enough! :LOL
