May is here Wishing everyone & those beautiful rainbow babies well, lots of new discoveries & happiness I'm just counting down. Time never ceases to amaze me; it's already time for my monthly appt. Bella's going to be here before we know it and I'm so excited, yet disappointed as this is our last. But it's exciting to think of what's next as a new chapter and watching them all grow

namaste_mom- I totally know what you mean. Cyrus will always be my rainbow baby but once you have a loss (or losses) your innocence is gone, then you have a healthy baby and you get a little hope. Soooo the second baby after a loss still has something special about it (not that all my kids aren't special but hopefully you ladies know what I mean) even though it is different than that first rainbow baby.
Congratulations!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Things are ok here. We are tta right now using nfp and my chart is so wonky. af has been here 2x since katara's birth. I can't figure out when I o'd, I don't think ff is correct but i should have af by now but i don't have a positive hpt either.
Can any of you ladies give me some insight?
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ttc3again

Nicole Do you think you could've o'd on cd33? That looks like a shift took place and could explain why no AF & no + hpt? I have super long cycles when I have them, and always irritate me b/c I never can interpret them right. You'd think after what almost 5 years I'd know how to read them better

Jen I'd be up for meeting, but like D said, I'm not close enough. Have a great trip though

D So good to see you and you sound so content I feel like Eli is my rainbow, too, but Bella will be my only girl, so special in that way.

cd 35 is possible i suppose but my cervix was low, firm and only partially open. There was a creamy mucus but more like yeasty discharge than cm. On cd 25 I had wcm and spotting. I usually have about a 10 day lueteal phase so......
i will keep you ladies posted.

I can't read those things Nicole. FWIW, when I got my cycle back after Maya it was totally nuts which is why I ended up pg again. I didn't get a bfp until a week or two after I was supposed to have af. I wasn't temping so I have no idea when I o'd.

Mere - Wow time is going quickly, Bella is going to be here soon. How are things going on the home front?

Thanks for asking D. Pretty lousy actually. Tired of crying and always being the bad guy. Just don't think it will work out My heart is just so sad. But I have Bella to look forward to

hugs meredyth!!!!

nicole, i usually have 28 day cycles, but since i had amelia, they've been weird. i had one 28 day, one 35 day, two 28 days, one 26 day, one 28 day, and this past one was 32 days...ugh. i know i'm not pg because i had the tubal, but it begins to play tricks on the mind.

millie has been a super fuss today. just now, she was wallowing me so i put her down and told her to 'go to sleep now' and she did lol! amazing because she never sleeps alone...i think all of the fussiness wore her out.

maybe she's teething? who knows? she has a dr. appt. thursday to re-draw blood for her osteopenia check. my oldest dd's team came in second today in the state softball tourney! yea, so proud of her!

Nicole I also think CD33 looks like a possible O day. The temp shift seems more definate. If did O on the original O date then you would have a BFP by now if you were pregnant. Or at least you 'should' who knows what our bodies are up to.

I've finally got a referal to get an IUD fitted again. Condoms are worrying me and I really want to enjoy my last pregnancy, well by enjoy I mean not be a physical as well as emotional wreck. Jees my back was bad with the last one. Plus if I don't get any stomach muscles back before hand I will look like there's a yoga ball down there! I'm a little funny about the whole thing though because I know the copper IUD doesn't stop fertilisation which just seems a bit bad right now. Before getitng pregnant with Leo I felt his presence out there and knew it'd be a boy even before I ovulated. But I don't fancy running the risk with condoms, or charting while bf, and I am not putting any hormones in my body at all.

Meredyth I can't believe how quick the time's going, didn't you get the bfp like yesterday?

D glad tyson's such a joy to you. Newborns are so special you just want to drink in all the coseyness and bliss. I still stare at Leo especially when he's asleep, and I'm just amazed I have a baby boy. Although not as amazed as he was yesterday when he figured he was a boy.

Jen Millie is adorable in that video. She's coming on so well. I take it she's pretty much hitting the milestones within the normal range then. That reminded me to start looking into the signing stuff and get something organised. I was so sad about growing out of the newborn stage, but just thinking of him communicating with me is fantastic. Actually the first time he held onto me when I was holding him I felt happy that he was growing up. There's just so much fun to come.

Life here is picking up. Weather's getting nice and our sales have picked up after last month which was slow. Leo's well and truly ready for summer with his shades. We went to a trade show in Paris and really have the knowledge now to get going and start us moving forwards and earning more, and also starting our plan which will end up with us living on a boat.

Jen - Millie is getting so big and Congrats to your older daughter for her team! Woo-Hoo!!!

D - Enjoy that sweet little newbie.

Meredyth - hugs to you. I am sorry things are not going well. I cannot believe that in a few short months Bella will be here! It seems like it was just a short time ago that you were wishing for a wee lass!

AFM - nothing too exciting here. It is really HOT - we are having June/July type weather high 80's and 90's. It makes my kids a little cranky at school.
Jack has a Dr appt today - pray he has gained some more weight so my Ped will calm down a bit! Also, Nate has PT again today.

Take care all!! Just in case I do not get back on here before Sunday - Happy Mother's Day to everyone

Thanks guys That was just an awful day that day. I think partly b/c our 9 year anniversary was the 28th, so it added to the unhappy feelings. But I'm happy to say that after that we're again trying to work on everything. It's just so much time to have spent together to give up. And we have had some great times, bad ones too, but more good I think. It's just hard. But we have Bella coming and not that babies make it all better, but you realize what you have. We're just in a better place and yesterday is over and done

Jen Ughh the heat is miserable. We're already in the 90's and it's so humid you just want to crawl under a rock The boys don't even want to go outside anymore when they get home from school. I say go play and Jacob tells me it's hot and there's no way he's going out in that To be so spoiled How's Jack's reflux? Hope the appt goes well! And happy mother's day to you, too

Okay, I was missing for a bit but now that BabyO is here I'm moving back to this thread. I just can't keep up with two! This week I have felt so relaxed. The end of this past pregnancy was almost worse than Ambrose's, I'm not sure why? Maybe it was the whole girl thing? Anyway, I'm really happy now. Odessa is so beautiful and wonderful! The birth was a bit stressful at first but ended up being a very calm, peaceful time. I only pushed one time and she was out. And dh did get to be there in the end, even though I didn't think he would be able to.

Jen- Millie looks so cute in the wide-eyed photo! I'm not close, otherwise I'd meet up.

Nicole- My cycle was totally wonky as well after Ambrose so I'm probably not much help either. I had one 107 day cycle then two that were about 45 days. You'll have to keep us posted.

meredyth-

Hello all!

Sorry I did not get to post sooner. The past day was a little wonky!

Meredyth - glad you are going to try and work things out!
After school some days my older 2 are the same way - tehy do not want to go out at all!

Amy - Congrats on Odessa! Hope to see some pics soon

Jack's appt was ok - he is still on the light side (14 lbs 15 oz), our ped is still in the watch/wait phase, either he'll get a little bigger like they want or it is genetics and he's just skinny! My Dh is 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 lbs. So Jack is destined to be tall/thin like Daddy and his oldest brother Michael.

Happy Mother's Day to all!!!!

The outline plan is - start buying van loads of bikes in the UK, bring them here to sell. Keep doing that and increasing the little stuff we sell. Snowball the money so we keep being able to earn more from each trip. In a few years buy an old property cheap that needs rebuilding. Rebuild, remortgage and then get some equity out. Use that and some extra cash from the bikes to buy a boat. Set off for a year at the beginning sticking close to Spain to try life afloat. If all goes well we start exploring the med, still making the small bits (which FIL will post out to customers) and home schooling the kids. Should be fun.

The only down side is if our next kid isn't a girl we can't keep going much longer as if we have too many kids we have to have a really big boat which will cost a lot and be so expensive to run we might not be able to afford the life while still being there for the kids.

Sounds like the dude is finally sleeping enough for his nap.

This is not good timing and dh is DONE DONE DONE. Please keep our family in your thoughts as all of this sinks in.
Thanks

Nicole Oh mama, I'm so happy for you, but I can imagine how you're feeling. I don't do birth control and a tubal is out for me, so another pg is a big concern of ours in the future as we're done with Bella once she arrives. Take your time and I hope that everything works itself out for you guys. Lots of love

congratulations, nicole!!! i'm sure in no time you'll be all starry eyed, dreaming of that new one and getting excited. i was scared $hitless when i got the bfp with millie.

jen, fwiw teryn was 15lbs 14 oz at 1. she's 6'2" and 180 basketball/softball star now! she was my biggest at birth (7lb 1 oz) and my only term baby but was the smallest at 1 year. if he's meeting milestones and having wet dipes, he's probably fine. thinking of you and s

thank you all for the congrats for teryn. tonight is the all sports banquet and i'm sure i'll be a wreck. this is the first in a series of events leading up to GRADUATION (?!?!?!) and i'm already teary eyed. they grow up so darn fast
