Hi everyone,

I am looking for a midwife in the Napa area, as my partner and I may be moving there in a few months. Homebirth may be an option, but we are buying a sailboat and living on it so we have to find a midwife who is into this unusual circumstance. If we can't find one in Napa, where the boat is, we will sail down the coast to where ever we can find the best one. I am also looking for birth center recommendations if I feel like I just can't do it on the boat. Hospitals are not an option for me, I do not feel comfortable in them whatsoever. I already have one homebirth...

There's a birth center in Oakland, and the midwife is Selena Green. I moved before I delivered there, but really liked everyone. They totally trust the birth process, and were even delivering twins there, which is very unusual. Good luck!
