I want to start some sort of play group/mom's group in McMinnville.

I've been here 11 months I haven't really connected with a group and I'm really feeling the isolation and just want a group of people, with toddlers, to hang out with. I've gone to story time at the library quite a bit, but no one there is quite as social/friendly as I would have hoped.

I'm 27 and I have 1 boy who is 16 months old.

I would call myself just medium/barely crunchy.

For example: We do all the vaccines, I did just started cloth diapering a bit, I stopped breastfeeding at 13 months, I'm a stay at home mom and an artist.

All of that is not to say that I only want to hang out with people just like me. I just thought giving you a glimpse of me might be helpful.

hello, guavagirl. i am a mother to a wonderful 1 year old here, outside mac. i actually joined this chatty thing just to respond to you. i also am an artist and full time mom. i have gone to the library, the parks, the farmers market....nothing yet! so, what i really want to know is, have you gotten your play group together?

Hi! No I haven't.

I guess the main reason is that my husband is looking for a new job, so I feel like we're always on the verge of moving. I thought about just starting it anyway, and then someone else could take it over when I leave...but then I got sidetracked with life, and kinda totally forgot about it.

So you've been trying to get out and meet people too and it hasn't been working either? Where outside of mac do you live?

We are moving to McMinnville mid-October.

I would love to get to know some mamas, and for my 18 month old to have some toddler friends(he is very social).

Hi Ladies, I am in the same boat!! moved to mac last september, and really dont know anyone, I have four kids, three girls 8, 6, and 3 and a 10 month old boy, Im just looking for some playmate for the kids and some adults to talk to!
