for healthy and budget wise?
Can you help me with some ideas? I often get stuck and then want to resort to convenience foods or eating out.
I stocked up on black beans and brown rice today. I've got lots of chicken in the freezer plus bacon and roast. Lots of veggies in the freezer. Pasta and sauces. And various other things. I'd really like to use what I've got without buying more.
Some ideas for this week (each served with a salad):
Black beans and rice (with some of the bacon)
Chicken and rice in mushroom sauce
brocolli and cheese rice casserole with chicken
black bean and bacon burritos
baked potatos with cheese and sour cream, other veggies on the side
I obviously need more ideas. And something to do with the roast. I have potatoes but none of the other traditional veggies for a pot roast.
