We're happy to introduce MDC Member of the Month for December: MCatLvrMom2A&X! MCatLvrMom2A&X has been a member of MDC since 2004 and also serves as an Ambassador.

How did you first find MDC?
When I had my son, I went in search on the net for the proper way to care for him since he was intact, and someone in chat sent me here to MDC.

What’s your favorite MDC forum? What keeps you coming back after all this time?
My favorite forum is the Case Against Circumcision. It's where I post the most, but I enjoy several other parts of the board as well. The up-to-date information, friendly community and the vast knowledge base from all the posters are what keep me hooked.

Tell us something most don’t know about you.
Hmm I read in the bath sometimes staying in there several hours after the kids are in bed.

Can you tell us a little bit about your family?
I have 2 kids. My daughter is 10 now, and she is a joy. She is blond like her dad and has hazel eyes like her grandpa, my dad. She is a very happy girl and very easy to please most of the time. My son is 6 and has blond hair and blue eyes like his dad. He is more outgoing and tends to giggle when he is in trouble. They generally get along very well but have their moments. I married my hubby in April of 1994. He is a hard worker and a great father.

What are you most proud of?
I would have to say my kids.

Are you a night owl or an early-bird-gets-the-worm?
Totally a night owl. I prefer staying up until 2-3A.M then get up to take the kids to school then come home and sleep awhile longer.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? What about now?
When I was really little I wanted to be a veterinarian then I realized what all the entailed. After that I wanted to be a homemaker. Now I am content being a SAHM.

Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Would you say you are neat or messy?
Very much introverted. Unfortunately I am a messy person who has to work hard at keeping things nice.

Do you like to cook? What is your ideal meal?
I do like to cook but don't do much of it. Ideal meal would have to be a roast, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans.

What do you consider your worst vice?
Procrastinating.

What’s sitting on your dining room table right now?
DVDs and 2 remotes.

What's the last book you've read?
Vampire, Interrupted a paranormal romance by Lindsay Sands.

Favorite all-time movie?
Almost of anything that starts with Star Trek.

Hobbies?
Reading, keeping fish.
