I have always used either bi-o-kleen or arm & Hammer fabricare free on my dipes. I just started buying melaleuca products (which I love!), but didn't know how their laundry detergent would work on cpf's and wrappers. Have any of the mama's here tried them? how did it work?

I haven't tried it on diapers personally. I used to use it all the time (before I was CD'ing) and really liked it. I have read a post from another mama that she loved it at first but then started to have problems with buildup and stink. That probably didn't help much - but that is what I can tell you

to be honest, i wasn't ALL that impressed w/mela laundry and really unimpressed with their business practices. I never used it on diapers, but the claim to get speghetti out (as well as other "stains") is a fallicy from my experiance. I wish you luck with this company.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Melapower.I only use Melapower. I don't add Melabrite to the wash. I also only use about a half of a pump rather than the full pump that is recommended for other laundry. And of course the usual double rinse that I used even when NOT using Melapower.

Also Keep in Mind that its a good idea to clean out your washer and pipes before using Melapower to get the full benefits. Do this by runnng a large hot load with vinegar.

I also noticed that the Melapower stripped my diapers of all the other detergent build up that I didn't even realize I had. So I had TONS and TONS of bubbles at first. Now that they have been washed in the melapower for awhile I get NO SUDS.

I have had really good luck with Melapower. I have gotten out stains (when you use the whole system. Beginning with pre spot) that have sat for a while out of clothes.

Good Luck to you
thanks so much for the replies. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. I'm a little bit leery because it does have a scent and I've always used unscented products. I don't know a lot about the company yet, but hadn't heard anything bad. We just moved and the few natural products stores I've found are EXPENSIVE down here and a significant pain in the butt to get to. Having eco friendly products sent to my door makes it worth it to me..... I think I'm interested in more rplies. reeseccup, do you have any specific complaints? I would like to hear more. You can pm me if you'd like

We use Melapower and haven't had any problems. I use a full pump, no double rinse and my Fuzzi Bunz still work great!

so can not use Melapower
otherwise I think it is great!!!!

I that's all I've used since we started cding. I've not had any issues with buildup at all.
I use the teeniest bit though. For a regular wash you need only 1/8 of melaleuca so I use about 1/4 of that for my diapers.

I just started using melapower on my dipes. They smell a lot cleaner than when I was using Tide. I also have had good luck on stains when using their line of products.
