Bummed. I love Dr. Seuss. Whorton Hears a Who is my favorite, and Sneetchers and Grinch are a close second and third. I bought the collection for 4 yo DS and 2 yo DD. Neither of them give a hoot. They don't like the rhymes, the images, any of it. In fact, DS tells me to stop reading it if I try. Can I hope that they may like it in a year or two?

What about the easy readers, like "The Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham"? DS prefers those because they are shorter and easier to understand. He just started to get into the longer stories recently, but he still isn't sold on the "Grinch"
