Ok, so both my brother and my boyfriend just freaking volunteered to deploy to Iraq with the field artillary!!! STUPID!! Ugh! If you are called, you go. Thats doing your duty. If you dont have to go and you sign yourself up, thats insanity. Neither one of them has been over there yet, so they dont know what they are getting themselves into. I have, so I know, but they wont listen to me. DAMN IT!

So, now I am gonna have to worry about them. Not to mention that my brother is my nanny and I'm not sure what to do with the kids if I dont have his help! I have time to figure it out, but they both chose to do this at a really bad time. I'm afraid this will mess up my relationship with BJ (boyfriend) too...I got my divorce after my first deployment, because my ex couldnt handle it and cheated left and right. I dont think BJ would do that, but its still a fear. And I have already lost too many friend, been to too many funerals. Every time I hear taps I think I'm going to be sick.

On the up swing, they will be able to look out for each other. And they are both medics (well, we all are), so they will be a very valuble resouce. Everyone protects the medic. I just wish they werent doing this. I had thought that if we went, we would all go together, since we are in the same unit.

:

I totally understand volunteering to go be a medic. They think they can do more good over there. I am sorry. It will be hard worrying about them, but trust in their abilities and be proud that they ARE doing something really good. Be proud that they really want to help humans.

How frustrating. I can't imagine VOLUNTEERING to go over there :

You're right about the medic though, at least you know they'll be more protected than most. But that still doesn't mean I wouldn't be at both of them

HA, both of them are starting to say "Maybe I didnt know what I was getting myself into...." oh well boys, too late now. I am sure they will be ok, but damn, I dont like being on the other side of things. Its loads easier being the one everyone else is worried about instead!
