Does anyone else have these?
Yesterday and again today I'm having pms like cramps in my lower abdomen- exactly as if I was expecting my period. They aren't severe, but they are new, and I'm wondering if it's normal to have them this late. I had them a lot at the beginning, of course, but what would cause them now?
I'm 18 weeks tomorrow
are they bad period-like cramps? if not, I get them too. as long as they aren't severe I don't think it is anything to worry about. there are a lot of changes happening in our bodies and there are bound to be some twinges/pains here and there.

Cramping is pretty normal, though you should mention it to your cp- and look at your water intake: Are you drinking enough? (64 oz/day)

I've been getting them for about a month now. This is my 3rd, and I haven't had them in either one of my other pregnancies. I'm not having any bleeding though, so I'm not too concerned. I'll mention it to my ob, but I'm sure he'll say it's just another pregnancy pain.

I was thinking about posting about this today too. I've had cramping all day (not painful, just dull). It's worrying me a bit, but I think I remember having this with dd too.

Ya, they're just mild, I can even forget about them for awhile. I had a mw appt on Thursday, so I'll mention it to her, but like you've all said, as long as they're not bad and not with blood, it should be fine.
Thanks!
I just have gas again. It's only distinguishable from cramping sometimes because of the.... um, gas!

I've had this too. This is my third pg and my first time with this symptom... as a pp said, watch your water intake (I notice that it happens to me particularly when I haven't had enough to drink).

Unless it's really severe or accompanied by spotting, I wouldn't worry about it... I mentioned it to my dr yesterday and she noted it in my chart but wasn't at all concerned about it.

I don't think I could make it through a day without drinking my 64oz of water! I feel SO dehydrated all the time if I don't constantly drink water.

Yup. I got dat, too.

This is my 3rd and I don't remember experiencing it with 1 & 2. My mw says it's normal and fine and not to worry about it.

It just tends to remind me what the beginning of labor has felt like both times.
