How many metal "silver amalgam" fillings do you have?

I have about 7 or 8 teeth with them I guess --all molars .
I did have 2 molars pulled in the past few years -glad to get them out of my mouth
I just broke a small piece of tooth off in my back molar and am wondering if fixing it is even an option-it is almost all filling.

I used to have 8 amalgams. But I got them all taken out and replaced with composites in late 2004 through a holistic dentist recommended by Dr. Hal Huggins' office.

I've had the 3 replaced with crowns. I've got a lot of $$ in my mouth
