Would anyone be interested in this?

I'm not looking because I want a discount, I just think it would be sort of cool. She is based in Troy.

Looks like June 2nd is working for mamas. Brandy says that she can do A.M., and has to be home in Troy by 1:30. We're shooting for Rochester Park as a location. Anyone who has diapers they'd be interesting in swapping or any other mamma/baby products to swap are welcome also! You don't have to buy diapers to come to the get together!

This is being said while the meeting is officially closed *wink*, but how about offering it up at a LLL meeting for the "community board", and seeing if there's any interest?...I'm thinking that there might be enough moms w/Rochester and Lake Orion combined to get a good group together. Also, NL may want to offer to include Waterford? Just a thought. I'm OUTTA cd's, but what the heck, why not?

That's a good idea. I know there are a couple moms who cd in our group. Maybe we can convert a few people! Thanks for the suggestion.

A diaper party sounds fun. I'm in Troy as well.

This would be so much fun. I'm in Troy as well, and am in the market for dipes. That puts me on the "dangerous" list! If you're considering homes in the area for a venue, you're welcome to consider ours. I'll try and invite a friend of mine who's expecting, and interested in cloth diapering, to visit, if we can do it on a weekend. I am flexible, though.

Thank you for the offer. I am going to see if anyone from LLL Orion is interested, and possibly the others from Rochester and Waterford. So, we would want to try to find somewhere centralish. Maybe even an outdoor venue somewhere???

Larkish....Brandy from luvingmamma says she can pre-order some stuff to have it on hand at a party, if we agree to do that.

I am interested in cding but haven't done it before and this babe is due in Dec. I just need to learn stuff (and of course get sucked in to their cuteness and buy) I am in Canton though, nearer to Troy than the other places mentioned, I think.

Hmmmm....maybe we could do a diaper party / information type meeting. I'm sure us cding veterans would love to share info (I know I always love encouraging parents to try cding).

That sounds like fun! I'm not really in the market for new diapers, but would like to come anyways. I might find something I want .

Would we be allowed to bring stuff to trade?

Hmmmm....that's a thought. I know Brandy (who owns luvingmamma) takes trade ins for her products. I'd have to talk w/her and see how she feels about trades going on.

I asked Brandy about this, she says she'd be o.k. with trading going on.

Also, she says "Happy Heinys, Ecobaby, Tiny tush, Monkey doodlez, Organic Caboose- have to be preordered. I have luke's drawers, bummis, knicker nappies (not customs), a few drybees in stock ready to sell.

If there is enough interest in a brand I can do an order especially for the
party as a general order not peoples specific orders-(I won't do anyones
order without payment as I am sure you can understand why)with general
sizes and colors so they can have some to pick through.

OR If they want to order from the site and choose free pickup/delivery I
can have it ready and in before the party".

Also, we are looking at possibly making a gift certificate donation to LLL for a mamma who might be in need of dipes (instead of any one person getting store credit for "hosting" the party).

I looked at her site. There are a lot of great products. I'm interested in the wipes solution and fitted diapers.

Does she carry the lacy drybees?

Jennifer....she says she can get lacy's in medium white and small lavender right now, other than that she'd have to pre-order.

Would the trading be limited only to diapers? Or could we bring other items that may be of interest to trade (soft-soled shoes, Waldorf toys, natural baby/mama care products, etc)?

Heck, that should be o.k. We could always do that before or after the "official" diaper party, as to not interfere with Brandy's presentation. Good idea!

Looks like June 2nd is working for mamas. Brandy says that she can do A.M., and has to be home in Troy by 1:30. We're shooting for Rochester Park as a location
