Hey ladys, has anyone used or know of a good midwife in the western mass area, conneticute is ok too. Great Barrington is where I'm at but there are a lot of surronding areas. any advise is welcome.

Try the Finding your tribe area and ask there! Otherwise I do't have any good ideas for finding one.

I'm on the west coast, so can't give specific referrals... but I'd find your local La Leche League, go to a meeting and ask there. The women there would know the area pretty well, and would probably have some good experience with some of the midwives in the area. Plus, it's never too soon to start attending LLL... you can get some awesome breastfeeding information, support, and just some great friends.

i found mine a few years ago by googling my heart out one night. i don't even remember how i really found her, but i know i emailed someone and got a recommendation. wish i knew about mcd then, lol!
