Alrighty. I had dd on Feb 1. I got my Mirena 11 weeks pp. I was still bleeding at that point and the dr. didn't seem concerned. Fast forward another 5 weeks and I'm STILL bleeding. I've had a migraine for 2 weeks that won't go away...I'm also dizzy, irritable and I'm having trouble sleeping. I feel like i'm in the middle of a constant brain fart.

Also, I'm not sure how to attach this to any other symptom, but my feet, both of them, have been KILLING me for 2 weeks (as long as I've had the headache).

I went to the dr. today, had an u/s and blood work...but nobody there seems concerned about all of this.

Clearly I'm thinking of anemia as a possibility, but I'm wondering if this could somehow be related to the IUD? Maybe pregnancy changed my vision and I need to have my eyes checked (and the headache is not related to the bleeding, and the bleeding is from Mirena).

There's too many variables to sort through on my own and I need some clarity.

Any ideas? Sorry for rambling. :

I had the Mirena IUD and had a horrible reaction, that my dr. argued that it couldn't be the IUD. But as soon as it was removed the problems went away. I didn't stop bleeding until it was removed, had horrible migraines, the last straw was my left side going numb and then my left leg wouldn't stop jumping until I had a large dose of ativan. I had to spend 6 days in the hospital away from my exclusively breastfed baby who was under 6 months.

I know one other lady who had a bad reaction to the Mirena. Do you by any chance have fibromyalgia? That was the common factor with the other woman and I.

bumping because I'm feeling desperate.

I had bloodwork done. Normal. I had an u/s to check IUD placement. It's in the right spot.

My OB says that this isn't from Mirena, which I don't entirely believe, because he also told me that BFing is the reason I've had a migraine for 2.5 weeks! He says the decrease in estrogen from BFing is the reason. I've NEVER heard of anyone with a migraine like this from BFing. He also says that the BFing is the reason I'm still bleeding? This goes against everything I've read.

I'm seeing my GP today and then getting my eyes checked.

PLEASE! HELP!
