I am falling apart over here.

Background: I have a 23 month old son. I have been pumping for 2 months because he decided to go on stike in January. I am also TTC with a recently failed 4th IUI cycle.

As the ultimate slap in the face, the progesterone has tanked my already low supply. I have been getting next to nothing out each pumping session. So yesterday I started fenugreek (again) and didn't get a chance to pump. And now I have a extremely painful milk blister next to my nipple. It hurts so bad. Throbbing pain. Anyway, I can't imagine that it was caused by a backup of milk because there isn't any in there. Treatment for blisters is moist heat and lots of nursing. Well I don't have a baby nursing. I can't pump on that side because the blister is right where the horn sits on my breast. I tried pumping and almost passed out from the pain.

Any other ideas?

You can sterilize a needle and open it up, then express by hand until milk is flowing.

It hurts. I am sorry, I had one and it really hurts. Ibuprophen and orajel can help reduce the pain.
