Ok, maybe not so minor, since my dd can't get the sweater over her head!

It's the LTK raglan in the round, and I remember reading that you really had to bind off loosely...I thought I did, but it just wasn't enough to stretch over her big noggin .

What are my options--is there a stretchy bind-off? I googled stretchy bind off, but couldn't find a basic idea of what I needed to do. I just did a basic knit bind off with a 2 sizes up needle.

Or do I need to add some increases (the neck rolls, so it should hide them ok)?

Help!

I think it's just the bind off--the neck opening would stretch to go over, but the bind off edge wasn't big enough.

There is a super stretchy bind off for loom knitting which you could adapt for needles. http://yarngear.com/looms/tips.htm Scroll down too "SUPER-STRETCHY BIND-OFF" it's almost at the bottom. In the instructions just substitute "stitch" for "peg"; and "towards the front" for "up", and "towards the back" for "down".

I had this problem with a pullover for my 4 year old. I re-did the bindoff with a larger needles, I think I used 11's and the sweater was knit on 10's. Did it super loosely and it worked.

thanks guys...I did EZ's sewn bind off--essentially the same as what you recommended eepster. I'm sure it will work now, but my model is in bed .

I'll take a pic in the morning!
