Hi everyone,

I had a website created by a web designer but now I'd like to make some minor changes myself. My host company is Hostway and my website was created using Microsoft Frontpage.

Does anyone know how I can download and upload my files from Hostway? I've asked them but I'm still confused.

You'll probably need an FTP program. I use CuteFTP and I believe there is a free version.

Did they give you login information for your account?

Yes, I have all the login information. There's an area at hostway where I can click and they can transfer my files using FTP. But I was told that Microsoft frontpage has a built-in FTP program. I'm sooooooooo confused!!

I use the free version of Ace FTP. I do all of my html work in Wordpad and then drag my files from Ace to my fpt folder. When I first started figuring it out, I was confused but once I did the first one I realized how simple it really is.
